On August 7th, 2022, Dr. Morton took office as Cross Fellowship Church's 6th Lead Pastor.

 

Matthew has been on staff at CFC since 2005 serving in both bi-vocational and vocational capacities. In that time he has served in many different roles in the church.  Matthew is a retired veteran of the United States Army and a native of Colorado Springs.  Matthew and Trisha married in 1998 and have two children Andrew and Emma as well as a daughter-in-law Ryann.  

 

Matthew is passionate about preaching and teaching God’s Word in a verse by verse format and his focus is simply to glorify God by taking one step closer to Jesus everyday and helping others do the same.

 

Matthew has a Masters of Science in Space Operations, a Masters of Divinity from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary and a Doctorate from Gateway Seminary.
